Are you interested in building a boat, kayak, canoe, or surfboard?
If the answer is yes, than do we have an excellent opportunity for you. Here at Manatee Technical Institute we have had the opportunity to begin a new boat building class. Under David Stinnette's expert instruction students will discover the fundamentals of boat building with an emphasis on Composite Construction Technology and Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding as applied to fabricated boat building and other composite based industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense. Those who attend can choose to learn the fabrication process for immediate employment in the industry or continue their studies by attending Manatee Community College for an Associates of Science Degree and Florida State University for a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. Whether you are interested in boat building as a hobby or profession, this is the right place to start. We offer hands on training in all of the latest boat building methods.
