Ms. Sheenan has a BS Degree from Wayland Baptist University. She has 10 years of teaching experience. She has been teaching at Manatee Technical Institute for 7 years .

Teaching Philosphy

”My teaching philosophy", says Ms. Sheenan, “can be expressed as “hands-on learning". "Electronic technology is an exciting field that is growing rapidly with new technologies and equipment. Therefore the student must be well prepared with a solid understanding of the current state of the art techniques. Learning basic foundational concepts, my students are always actively engaged in hands-on activities. Team work, participation in SkillsUSA VICA contests, involvement in real life projects instill in students the satisfaction and joy of learning and bring them to the lifelong pursuit of professional growth."
