Program Outline

The Fire Academy Program is a series of classes which train students to become firefighters.

It is a State-Certified course and we are a State-Certified Firefighter Training facility, recognized by the Florida State Fire Marshall. In order to become a state-certified firefighter, you must complete the Fire Fighter I and Fire Fighter II courses then pass the state exam.

This second part of the Minimum Standards Certification Course for Firefighters is just as challenging as the first part. All class sessions for BOTH Fire Fighter I and II are presented regardless of weather conditions and no absences are permitted. After this class is completed, students may go on to take the State Certification Exam
