Welcome to the Automotive Technology program at Manatee Technical Institute - an award winning program and one of the best automotive training centers in our region.

The program is accredited by ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
and NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) and provides our students with quality training based on certification requirements.

Our program has achieved the highest job placement rates. Since automotive technology has become highly sophisticated, it requires stronger mechanical, electrical, electronics, and computer skills therefore we provide our students with the training in a state-of-the-art computerized environment.

We are proud of our students, who are state winners in the Automotive Industry Planning Council Competitors in 2004 and 2006.
In 2004 our students won Ford/AAA Automotive Skills competition and Advanced into National Competition in Washington D.C.
