TABE TESTING INFORMATION

• A $20 dollar testing fee is required.
• Bring your paid receipt, and photo ID with you to room 204 when you take the TABE test.
• You may reschedule within 30 days if you miss your assigned test date.
• You must call if you can not come when scheduled, you may only reschedule once.
• Refunds are not available.
• TABE is a timed test, if you have documentation that you may receive more time, show this to the counselor when you sign up.
• Calculators may be used on the applied math section only.
• A locator test is given to determine the level the student will be successful at.
• The test will begin with a tutorial, this is when you may ask questions, any questions after this time are permitted only if you are having problems with the computer.
• If you need to go to the restroom, please bookmark your test.
• Please turn cell phones and pagers off during the test.
• Test results are given at end of test.
• No food or drink is allowed during testing.
• Highest grade achievable is a 12.9.
• If you do not reach the level required for a class, remediation is available.

April: Every Tuesday from 5:30-9:45pm, Every Thursday from 5:30-9:45pm, Every Friday from 9:00am- 12noon

May: Every Tuesday from 5:30-9:45pm, Every Thursday from 5:30-9:45pm, Every Friday from 9:00am-12noon

Please call 752-8100 (ext. 200) the day of the test to confirm that there have been no changes regarding days and times of test. Thank you.
