Basic Healthcare Worker (90 hrs)
Central Supply Technician (210 hrs)
Surgical Technologist (1030 hrs)

The surgical technology program is designed to prepare students for employment as Surgical Technologists.

Clinical learning experiences in an operating room and related areas are an integral part of this program.

Prerequisite: Health Science Core

Program Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Manatee Technical Institute Surgical Technology Program to provide students a comprehensive learning experience encompassing the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains in order that graduates have the opportunity to perform as competent, entry-level surgical technologists while serving the needs of the community.
