This program prepares for responsible, entry level employment with rapid transition to professional positions in restaurant cooking. It is designed to give the student a basic core of competence, but also the opportunity to concentrate on areas of special interest. The "hands-on" approach to education provides the student with a realistic understanding of today's growing, competitive field.
Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts offers a high school program for juniors and seniors on a half-day basis. This program leads to acceptance into the adult MTI program and possible entry into state college level education.
