This course provides an opportunity for students to discover the fundamentals of boatbuilding with an emphasis on Composite Construction Technology and Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding as applied to fabricated boatbuilding and other composite based industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense companies. Students can choose to learn the fabrication process for immediate employment in the industry or continue their studies by attending Manatee Community College for an Associates of Science Degree and Florida State University for a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
