The mechanical drafting program incorporates practice and theory along with extensive computer application in drafting, 3D modeling and design.

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to translate data and specifications in preparing and drawing of jigs and fixtures, stamping dies, and injection molds. This program covers focused instruction in the use of CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) as well as board drafting. Mechanical Drafting placed first in the state and nation in 2004 SkillsUSA.
