MSSC: Manufacturing Skills Standards Certification - 42 hours

This class is an industry-led training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation’s production workers. The 13 Main Campus Continuing Education Winter/Spring 2009 Schedule of Classes MSSC System offers workers the opportunity to demonstrate that they have mastered the skills increasingly needed in the high-growth, technical jobs of the 21st century. Each quarter, students may enroll in one of the four 42-hour modules:

Safety
Quality Assurance
Manufacturing Processes
Production Maintenance Awareness

The MSSC System awards the Production Technician Certification to individuals who pass the four manufacturing-related modules.
