::CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS Health and SafetyIndustrial Lift Truck Certification - 6 hoursThis course provides training in types and features of industrial fork trucks, vehicle inspections, load handling, charging and fueling, and safety concerns. Provides documented training, hands-on component, and on-site observation of equipment to be operated in facility where material handling will be conducted. Recertification required every 3 years. Please see the Continuing Education section of the Tech Times for location, times and fees. 10 Hour OSHA Construction - 12 hoursAuthorized OSHA Outreach Training to receive the 10-hour OSHA Construction card. Topics include an introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act, personal protective equipment, electrical safety, control of hazardous energy (lockout/ tagout), ladders and stairways, excavations and trenching, hand and power tools, fall protection, scaffolding, and much more. Please see the Continuing Education section of the Tech Times for location, times and fees. 10 Hour OSHA General Industry - 12 hoursAuthorized OSHA Outreach Training to receive the 10-hour OSHA General Industry card. Topics include an introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act, personal protective equipment, electrical safety, control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout), ladders and stairways, machine guarding, hand and power tools, hazard communication and much more.
